Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

TRYON—The Foothills Music Club members gathered for music at Tryon First Baptist Church on Thursday, September 12, for the first meeting of the 2024-2025 season. Most members participated in the program, performing vocally and on piano, recorder, melodica, harmonica, bassoon, and flute.

A wide range of periods of music was represented, by composers such as Telemann, Schumann, Liszt, Field, Grieg, and Coulter.

The FMC meets monthly from September through May. The purpose of the club is to encourage musicians in their art and to provide scholarships to young musicians to support their musical endeavors.
