Earl Scruggs, born in Shelby N.C., quickly rose to fame after redefining old-time and string band music using his own distinct banjo sound, now known as the Scruggs Style. He would go on to win dozens of awards and Hall of Fame accolades, while also bridging generations of Bluegrass enthusiasts of every age.

Musicians such as Tanya Tucker, Old Crow Medicine Show and Yonder Mountain String Band  who are influenced by Scruggs and his unique banjo-playing skills are set to headline this one-of-a-kind music celebration. Other performers set to take the stage at the third annual Earl Scruggs Music Festival are Marty Stuart & His Fabulous Superlatives, Peter Rowan & Sam Grisman, The Steeldrivers, The Earls of Leicester, Jerry Douglas, and Pony Bradshaw, among many others.

Additionally, attendees can bring their “own style” of country music to the Jam Session Pickin’ Pavilion, where dozens of musicians will meet and blend together in an informal setting.

Attendees can also enjoy the many restaurants, food venders, artist tents, and shopping stations that TIEC and the music festival has to offer. A children’s area will be available for families who are looking to introduce a new member to the Bluegrass community.

Ticket packages are available to purchase in a variety of different options, including single day tickets, multi-day tickets, general admission tickets and V.I.P. tickets. Camping options are also available.
