The Collectors by Alice Feagan featured at the Stearns Park StoryWalk

COLUMBUS— Stearns Park in Columbus now has a brand new StoryWalk called “The Collectors”, which is written  by Polk County native Alice Feagan. Nature lovers and collectors of all kinds will love this high-adventure quest story about two brave and clever girls who head into the forest in search of something extraordinary.

The StoryWalk begins at the playground and continues counter-clockwise on the path around the park and will be available to read through Wednesday, July 31. Attendees can scan the QR code on the last panel of the StoryWalk to enter for a chance to win a prize pack, which includes a copy of the book and an outdoor explorer set.

The Stearns Park StoryWalk was installed in 2021 as a collaboration between Polk County Public Libraries and Polk County Parks and Recreation offering a unique story adventure for park goers of all ages.The StoryWalk Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, Vermont and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library.
