TRYON—On Friday, May 31, Tryon Arts & Crafts School welcomed over 150 guests to a vibrant triple exhibition reception.

The event featured three distinct exhibits: “Illustration, Glancing Back,” showcasing works by the creator of the Wall Street Journal’s iconic hedcut portrait style; “Precious Things,” a site-specific art installation by Janet Orselli; and a Jewelry Sale fundraiser supporting TACS’s metalsmithing department.

The evening was a great success, drawing a large and enthusiastic crowd. Due to popular demand, Janet Orselli will offer two additional public artist talks on June 12 and June 26 from 2 to 3 p.m. Complimentary refreshments will be provided at these talks.
