LANDRUM—On June 8, Landrum will welcome its newest business, Third Space Coffee & Bakery. Located at 803 E. Rutherford St., the new business is owned and operated by 21-year-old Bailey Morris of Inman, who originally began her business at the Landrums Farmers Market.
Morris says her vision for the business extends beyond coffee and baked goods. It’s about fostering a sense of community, a ‘third space’ where neighbors can gather, share stories, and savor the simple joys of life over a cup of excellent coffee and fresh baked goods.
“I’ve been baking since I was 15, and my family encouraged me to start selling my baked goods when the Farmers Market was on Trade St., and I would sell out every week,” Morris says. “That gave me a little bit of a push.”
Third Space’s menu will feature drip coffee, espresso, cappuccino, and lattes, as well as various teas and hot chocolate. It will also offer baked goods, such as muffins, cakes, scones, focaccia bread, cinnamon rolls, and gluten-free options.
“The name of the business really says what we are all about,” adds Morris. “Third Space is a community place where customers can come relax, meet with friends and get a good cup of coffee and tasty baked goods.”
Third Space Coffee & Bakery can be found on Facebook and Instagram. It will be open Tuesdays through Fridays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
