Over 200 classic cars and trucks to be showcased at free event
LANDRUM—The 2024 Dark Corner Classic Car Show is set to take place on Saturday, May 4.
Car and truck enthusiasts alike will be able to enjoy over 200 classic vehicles during this full-throttled, fun-filled day for the entire family. The event will be free to attend and will take place at North Trade Ave. in downtown Landrum.
While the show starts at 10 a.m., organizers ask that those who wish to participate in the car show arrive at 9 a.m. to register their vehicles. Registration will cost $20 per vehicle, allowing car owners to showcase what’s under the hood, flawless vehicle exteriors, and much more.
Numerous trophies will be awarded at the end of the day, including “Best of Show,” last awarded to Mark Henson for his 1969 Chevy C10. Additionally, each event sponsor will get to pick a winner whom they thought had the best vehicle of the day.
The event sponsors include the City of Landrum, Stott’s Ford, Landrum Hardware, Tiffany Freel at State Farm, Keystone Self Storage, Hare & Hound Pub, Flatwood Customs, Petty Funeral Home, Leroy Maybry Used Cars, Geno’s Crane Service, Orange Bear Motors, Prince Gas, Jimmie Ross Garage, Gateway Realty and Marketsold Realty.
