New monthly event sponsored by the newly formed Saluda Art Alliance
SALUDA—Downtown Saluda will now offer a new artistic experience as it debuts monthly Saluda Art Strolls, sponsored by the recently established Saluda Art Alliance.
Scheduled for the second Saturday of each month during the 2024 season, the strolls invite community members to explore downtown, peruse various shops and studios and enjoy light refreshments while admiring the diverse artwork on display. The inaugural Saluda Art Stroll is set for Saturday, April 13, from 4 to 6 p.m.
Among the highlights of this event is a ‘Meet the Artist’ session at Heartwood Gallery, located at 21 E. Main St., featuring local artist Hannah Seng. Seng will present additional pieces of her work and be available for discussion from 4 to 6 p.m.
Known for her depictions of Southern Appalachian flora and fauna, Seng’s paintings aim to reveal the extraordinary within the seemingly mundane aspects of nature. Heartwood Gallery is excited about the opportunity to showcase the artistic talents thriving within the vibrant mountain community of Saluda.
