Polk County Middle School students in Josh Trejo’s digital media art classes recently created placemats to spread holiday cheer to others in the community. Four hundred placemats were delivered to Steps to Hope, Thermal Belt Outreach, Meals on Wheels, Polk County Senior Center and St. Luke’s Hospital. This is another Polk County Community Foundation grant-funded project to support the mental well-being of students by involving them in activities that uplift others. Happy Holidays!
