Annual festival to feature Western theme, beers from across the Carolinas
TRYON—The 12th annual Tryon Beer Fest will be held on November 4, from 12 to 6 p.m. The popular event will take place at the Depot Plaza in downtown Tryon.
The Tryon Beer Fest has been held on the first Saturday of November since 2012. The theme for the 2023 Tryon Beer Fest is “High Noon,” and attendees are encouraged to wear Western-inspired costumes. There will be cowboy-themed decorations, games, live music, a photo booth and food available from the Chuck Wagon.
The festival will feature Suburban Angst of Atlanta and western North Carolina-based Rich Nelson Band. Both bands play a mix of classic rock, current hits and upbeat originals.
Tryon Beer Fest offers unlimited tastings from local breweries, as well as beers from across the globe, ranging from Iron Key Brewing Company of Columbus to St. Bernardus Brewery of Belgium. Other western North Carolina breweries that will participate this year include Dry Falls Brewing of Hendersonville, and Highland Brewing Company and Wicked Weed Brewing of Asheville, among many others.
General Admission tickets are available now for $45 and include unlimited tastings from participating breweries. Designated Driver tickets are available for $10 and include festival access and nonalcoholic beverages. A limited quantity of VIP tickets are available for $90 and include access to exclusive beers and food, indoor restrooms and unique souvenirs.
New View Realty is the title sponsor for the event. Tryon Beer Fest is presented by the Tryon Downtown Development Association and its volunteers. Volunteer opportunities for the 2023 Beer Fest are still open, with sign-ups available at tryonbeerfest.com. All proceeds from the Tryon Beer Fest will go towards development projects in downtown Tryon.
