Polk County Early College students traveled to Isothermal Community College’s Spindale campus on August 17 to learn more about the school and programs available to them as Isothermal students.

Students met with professors from every department and learned about the various programs offered by ICC. Students were able to visit classrooms throughout the campus, including engineering technology, graphic design, broadcasting, construction, welding, early childhood education, the dentistry lab, gaming room, criminal justice, cosmetics/esthetics and more.

Many of these programs are available for students to begin while attending Polk County Early College, where they can earn both a high school diploma and associate’s degree at the same time at no cost.
