LANDRUM—Spartanburg One school district recently announced that all students in Landrum schools will receive free meals for the 23-24 school year, provided by USDA’s Community Eligibility Provision program.
Officials said on Wednesday that with district-wide participation, parents will no longer need to fill out the free and reduced lunch application for their children. All students will automatically receive free breakfast and free lunch in the district.
Funds will be required on a student’s account for purchases for a second meal or for a la carte purchases that include snacks, drinks or entrees.
