MILL SPRING – The Polk County Board of Commissioners recently hosted the 2023 Annual N.C. Association of County Commissioners District Meeting at the Tryon International Equestrian Center.

Commissioners from District 13 and District 15 were on hand to discuss pressing issues and shared priorities during the event, which was held on April 20.

Each spring, the NCACC hosts a series of District Meetings throughout the state, with meetings being held in nine regions.

These meetings will focus on elected-to-elected networking with members of the North Carolina General Assembly. Commissioners and legislators in their districts were invited to join NCACC for a networking reception, dinner, and an update on the Association.
