Thousands of horse lovers enjoyed perfect spring weather at the 75th running of the Block House Steeplechase on Saturday. Complete with elaborate tailgate parties and classic steeplechase fashion, the atmosphere at the event was festive and competitive.
The race winners were: Whiskey Warrior jockeyed by Barry Foley, Beat Le Bon jockeyed by Graham Watters, Seizing the Dream jockeyed by Barry Foley, Gordon’s Jet jockeyed by Jamie Bargary and Dante’s Fire jockeyed by Graham Watters. The total purse for the day was $100,000. (Photos by Grant Langston)
