Accident occurs at Belue Mill Rd. and N. Blackstock Rd. Monday night

 

LANDRUM––Around 5:54 p.m. on Monday evening, a crash occurred at the intersection of Belue Mill Rd. and North Blackstock Rd. in Landrum. 

 

According to South Carolina Highway Patrol, a van was traveling south on N. Blackstock Rd., and a truck was heading west on Belue Mill Rd., approaching the stop sign at the intersection. The truck came to a stop at the intersection, then tried to cross over N. Blackstock Rd., resulting in the driver of the van hitting the front of the truck.

No injuries were reported.

SC Highway Patrol concluded after an investigation that the driver of the truck was at fault in the accident.

The roadway was blocked due to the accident, but officials moved the cars shortly thereafter. The scene of the accident was cleared around 7:50 p.m.
