Polk County District Court results – 11/9/22

In Polk County District Court on Nov. 9, 2022 with Judge Fritz Mercer presiding, 116 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Logan Marby Allison was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Allison was fined $25 and court costs.
Raphael Holt Andrews was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Andrews was fined $25 and court costs.
Jimmy Wayne Blackwell was convicted of misdemeanor larceny. Blackwell was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, a $30 fine and court costs.
Byron Allan Born was convicted of injury to personal property and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Born was sentenced to 12 days in jail with credit for time served.
Brandi Lynn Cordell was convicted of failure to wear seat belt-driver. Cordell was to pay court costs.
Stewart Bane Davis was convicted of misdemeanor larceny and carrying a concealed weapon. Davis was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, $500 in restitution and court costs.
Collin Hill Galloway was convicted of reckless driving. Galloway was fined $30 and court costs.
Meri-Hester Gilliland was convicted of misdemeanor possession of stolen goods. Gilliland was sentenced to 60 days in jail with credit for time served.
Dorthea Hollifield was convicted of a probation violation. Hollifield was sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for time served.
Julio C. Lemusmorales was convicted of speeding 98 mph in a 65 mph zone. Lemusmorales was fined $30 and court costs.
Efrain Merida Lopez was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 70mph zone. Lopez was fined $100 and court costs.
John Joseph McHugh was convicted of reckless driving. McHugh was fined $50 and court costs.
Brittany Leigh Morrow was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired. Morrow was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Kenneth Austin Painter was convicted of misuse of 911 system. Painter was sentenced to 1 day in jail with credit for time served.
Anthony Pereira III was convicted of misdemeanor break or enter a motor vehicle and misdemeanor larceny after break or enter. Pereira was sentenced to 60 days in jail with credit for time served.
Leslie Hardin Powell was convicted of failure to notify DMV. Powell was to pay court costs.
Garrett Pat Schofield was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 70 mph zone. Schofield was fined $10 and court costs.
Travis Cowan Smith was convicted of level 4 driving while impaired. Smith was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 48 hours of community service and court costs.
Travis James Styles was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired. Styles was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service and court costs.
Andrew D. Vanwingerden was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired and concealed gun after/while consuming. Vanwingerden was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 1 day in jail, a $100 fine and court costs.
Jon Eric Wilson was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired and misdemeanor possession of schedule II controlled substance. Wilson was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 1 day in jail, a $10 fine and court costs.
