Campobello Fire Department responds to crash on I-26

CAMPOBELLO––On Wednesday afternoon at one o’clock, Campobello Fire Department was dispatched to an accident on I-26.
According to officials, a white SUV was traveling eastbound on I-26 and ran off the shoulder of the road, at which point the vehicle hit a guardrail.
The two individuals in the vehicle were examined by Spartanburg County EMS, and no injuries were reported. Officials shut down one lane of traffic for about an hour while the wrecker worked to clear the road and retrieve the SUV from the median.
Also on scene was New Prospect Fire Department.
