MILL SPRING––The Tryon International Equestrian Center (TIEC) recently began its winter activities, with some activities lasting until February.
Tryon International Equestrian Center puts on an extensive light show for adults and children of all ages every evening from 6-10 p.m. The Christmas light show is synchronized to holiday music, and vehicles drive through Shadrack’s Christmas Wonderland’s two miles of animated lights to the Tryon Resort.
On select nights, Tryon Resort’s Winterfest Village will feature Santa’s North Pole Experience, the Who-liday Character Zone with your favorite Grinch character, Mrs. Claus’ Cookie Kitchen, live music, and much more.
After the Winterfest Village activities and light show, families are invited to park and enjoy the holiday magic at Legend’s Plaza where Winterfest Village lights up. New to Winterfest this year is Tryon Resort’s Holiday Ice Skating in Tryon Stadium.
Skate rentals are available by the hour. All ages are invited to enjoy the fun on ice and take in the hundreds of lights on display. Holiday Ice Skating will be available through February 14 of next year.
This free Winterfest Village event will be open every Thursday through Sunday to December 19, from 5-9 p.m. For featured entertainment, wristbands can be purchased for $15 per adult and $10 per child, and ages 3 and under are free.
Tickets are sold by the carload at the drive-thru for Shadrack’s Christmas Wonderland.
Breakfast with Santa will occur at Legend’s Club at TIEC on December 3, 10, and 17 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Reservations for Breakfast with Santa are required in advance with adult, children, and family groups pricing available. The menu includes a waffle bar with a variety of festive toppings. To reserve your spot for Breakfast with Santa or to purchase tickets for other TIEC holiday events, visit tryon.com.
