In Polk County District Court on Oct. 5, 2022 with Judge F. Mercer presiding, 93 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Jason Wesley Barnwell was convicted of felony probation violation. Barnwell was sentenced to 90 days in jail then probation terminated.
Jacquelyn A. Camacho was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 70 mph zone. Camacho was fined $30 and court costs.
Darrien Q. Cannady was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 70 mph zone. Cannady was fined $10 and court costs.
Cassie Maekala Howell was convicted of speeding 80 mph in a 65 mph zone. Howell was to pay court costs.
Grayson Suits Laughlin was convicted of flee/elude arrest with a motor vehicle. Laughlin was sentenced to 18 months probation, a $300 fine and court costs.
Brandon Lee Logan was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Logan was fined $10 and court costs.
Marcharei A. McBride was convicted of reckless driving to endanger. McBride was fined $30 and court costs.
Noah Ellis Moore was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 70 mph zone. Moore was fined $10 and court costs.
Austin Daquan Nickless was convicted of possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Nickless was fined $25 and court costs.
Laura Leigh Pace was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired, Pace was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Carolyn Salina Patton was convicted of possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Patton was sentenced to 3 days in jail with credit.
Kenneth Leroy Witte was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Witte was fined $25 and court costs.
Gabrielle Faith Yelton was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Yelton was fined $25 and court costs.
