“The Crucible” in rehearsals at Roger’s Park
Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Just in time for the Halloween season, Tryon’s Shakespeare & Friends theater company presents a spooky production of Arthur Miller’s The Crucible. The Tony Award-winning play will be presented one weekend only, November 3 through 6, 2022 at 7 p.m. each night.

The classic play explores the infamous witch trials of 1692, when the small town of Salem, MA is overtaken by a coven of witches – or is it jealousy and fear that is to blame?

The chilling tale of revenge and resilience is presented in Tryon’s Rogers Park, with fall foliage surrounding the outdoor amphitheater.

Shakespeare & Friends co-founder Michelle Newman directs a cast of more than 20 actors to bring The Crucible to life. The production includes mature themes.

Admission is $10. Advanced tickets are recommended and are available at tryonshakespeare.com.
