In Polk County District Court on Aug. 10, 2022 with Judge Emily Cowan presiding, 73 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Larry Couch was convicted of injury to real property. Couch was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation and court costs.
Matthew Colt Martin was convicted of injury to personal property. Martin was sentenced to one day in jail with credit.
Zackery Hugh Murray was convicted of felony possession of marijuana and possession with intent to manufacture. Sell and deliver a schedule VI controlled substance, Murray was sentenced to 12 months supervised probation and court costs.
Jerry Lewis Toney was convicted of breaking or entering and injury to real property. Toney was sentenced to 20 days in jail with credit.
Oscar Kent Wright was convicted of leaving the scene of an accident and forcible trespass. Wright was sentenced to 2 years unsupervised probation, a $250 fine and court costs.
