Dexter Cleveland was bitten by the magic bug as a young boy when he opened the Mysto Magic Set at Christmas. Now as a member of the International Brotherhood of Magicians for more than forty years, he is performing Live@Lanier on Saturday, July 30, at 11 a.m. He is also a member of the Order of Merlin, Excalibur, and the Society of American Magicians.
This interactive family program is open to the public. Giant dice will disappear and cards will vanish into a mysterious elsewhere and return in the most unexpected places. Cleveland’s baffling hands have entertained audiences at AT&T, Michelin, Milliken, nightclubs, colleges, and more. Family and friends, young and old, are invited to participate at Lanier Library, located at 72 Chestnut Street in Tryon. For more information call 828-859-9535, or visit www.thelanierlibrary.org.
