The North Carolina Guardian ad Litem Program, a division of the North Carolina Administrative Office of the Courts, recruits, trains, and supervises child advocate volunteers to represent and promote the best interests of abused, neglected, and dependent children in the court system. They provide screening, training, legal guidance, and supervision to each volunteer that commits to this call to action.
There is a need for volunteer advocates in Polk County. If you would like more information or have an interest in becoming a voice for the children in your community, please visit www.volunteerforgal.org to complete a volunteer application or call the local office at 828-694-4215 with any questions.
Our children need you to be a voice for them!
