Polk County Board of Education to discuss potential changes to Covid-19 protocols
POLK COUNTY––On Monday, February 21, the monthly Polk County board meeting is being held to discuss potential changes with Covid-19 protocols in the county schools. The meeting is at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium at Polk County High School.
Aaron Greene, Superintendent, says that an email has been sent to families of students in the educational system to prepare them for any changes that might take place after Monday’s meeting, where they will discuss the use of masks and other protocols.
Superintendent Greene says, “Guidelines are changing, so we are discussing that with our board so we can make an informed decision on Monday night.”
He goes on to say, “My goal is to simply keep our families informed and try to be as transparent as possible.”
An update on the Covid-19 protocols in Polk County schools will be available in next week’s Tryon Daily Bulletin.
