Tryon Midnight will be held downtown from 7-10 p.m.

TRYON—Residents can ring in the New Year Friday night in downtown Tryon in a different fashion…and early. 

The annual Tryon Midnight will be held downtown Friday night beginning at 7 p.m. The ball drop, done with a fishing pole from the clock tower, will be done at the usual 10 p.m. instead of midnight. 

This year people are invited to come celebrate the New Year, with Mountain View BBQ serving food at the plaza and Trevor’s Gift selling brews to raise money for the scholarship fund. 

The celebration is hosted by the Tryon Downtown Development Association.
