In Polk County District Court on Sept. 22, 2021, with Judge Emily G. Cowan presiding, 164 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Kato Alejandro was convicted of speeding 100 mph in a 70 mph zone. Alejandro was fined $100 and court costs.
Byron Allan Born was convicted of disorderly conduct. Born was sentenced to 14 days in jail with credit for time served.
Savannah Louis Clayton was convicted of 2 counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. Clayton was sentenced to 1 day in jail with credit for time served.
Melvin Lee Diggs was convicted of possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Diggs was fined $75 and court costs.
Avery Tyler Graves was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce and possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Graves was fined $75 and court costs.
James Alan Hale was convicted of unsafe movement. Hale was fined $50 and court costs.
Joshua Michael Kerr was convicted of driving while license revoked-impaired revocation. Kerr was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Nicolas Rebollar was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired. Rebollar was sentenced to 1 year unsupervised probation, 1 day in jail, a $100 fine and court costs.
Raymond Anthony Reid was convicted of felony possession of marijuana and carrying a concealed gun. Reid was sentenced to 1 year supervised probation, 24 hours of community service and court costs.
Julia Denise Tucker was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Tucker was fined $40 and court costs.
William A. Watson was convicted of possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Watson was fined $25 and court costs.
