In Polk County District Court on Sept. 8, 2021, with Judge Tom Foster presiding, 124 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Debra Jean Carter was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Carter was fined $40 and court costs.
Ashley Sabrina Cole was convicted of possession of heroin, simple possession of schedule III controlled substance and possession of methamphetamine. Cole was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation.
Jennifer Marie Craig was convicted of financial card fraud and conspire to commit felony larceny. Craig was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation and court costs.
Ruth Anastasi Dzyadyk was convicted of reckless driving to endanger. Dzyadyk was fined $200 and court costs.
Elise Lee Fehrenbach was convicted of first degree trespass enter/remain and injury to personal property. Fehrenbach was sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for time served.
Holly Juanita Hamilton was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Hamilton was fined $40 and court costs.
Ashley Nicole Hellard was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Hellard was fined $20 and court costs.
John Rex Seay was convicted of speeding 59 mph in a 45 mph zone. Seay was fined $83 and court costs.
Gavin Brock Shelton was convicted of carrying a concealed gun. Shelton was sentenced to 5 days in jail with credit for time served.
Kyle James Wahnon was convicted of felony probation violation out of county. Wahnon’s probation was terminated.
Justin William Wyatt was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired. Wyatt was sentenced to 18 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $200 fine and court costs.
