Polk County Volleyball Club’s 12U squad made a successful debut. PCVC 12U competed in the SAVL Challenge Series event in Spartanburg. The team finished in second place, going 3-1 in the all-day event on Saturday. PCVC’s lone loss came to tournament champion Upward Stars 12 Morgan, a 25-15, 25-22 setback. The 12U team includes Renee Bright, Jillian Brown, Elena Greve, Claire Lawrence, Abby Lewis, Jaylen Stacey and Amiyah Waters. (Courtesy Polksports.com)
