Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

TubaChristmas is coming and the only place in North Carolina where you will find it is right around the corner in Columbus.

This Saturday, December 5, the Tubas and Euphoniums will be setting up on the front lawn at the Polk County Court House for the 2:00 p.m. show. This will be the 23rd year for this performance and like everything else this year it will be different. Even the performers will be bringing their own chairs and music stands so you can bring a chair or some blankets. Social Distancing will be observed, and the audience can benefit from the face masks.

The Court House is located on E. Mills St in downtown Columbus.

The first time Tuba Christmas came to Polk County, it was scheduled for the lawn of the Stearns High School. The rainstorms made it necessary to move inside the school. However, this year there is no indoor alternative, so we are all hoping for good weather, at 2:00, on December 5, at the Polk County Court House front lawn.

Come to start your Christmas Holiday with Tubas, Euphoniums and Carol singing.
