Polk County Early College student Kristan Reedy earned appointment as a North Carolina House Page for the 2020 legislative session.

The House Page Program offers students ages 15-18 a chance to spend four days receiving a firsthand look at how state government operates. Pages work in the House Chamber, assisting members and staff on a variety of tasks.

Unfortunately, Reedy was unable to spend any time working in the House due to the ongoing global coronavirus pandemic.

Reedy will be a sophomore this year at PCEC.
