our founding fathers

Now that our children are kept away from school, it may be a good time to teach them our countries founding.

Some of you younger parents might benefit from a little brushing up yourselves.

Mistakes have been made since our beginnings but many fought and died violently to correct them.

Our original Founding Fathers pledged their lives, their honor and their fortunes in order to form a more perfect union.  Study the lives of each one of them and you’ll learn that most gave up their lives and their fortunes but their honor always remained intact.

In the words of one of our greatest patriots, Patrick Henry, “I know not what course others may take, but as for me, give me liberty or give me death.”

I will conclude by the words of Thomas Jefferson, “When the people fear the government you have tyranny, when the government fears the people, you have liberty.”
