Horse art graffiti

Polk County Sheriff’s Office investigating area graffiti
POLK COUNTY—An area horse statue was vandalized over the weekend as well as graffiti found in a few other areas around the county.
The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the graffiti, which all occurred this past weekend.
Polk County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer JJ Sauve said several other locations besides the horse were tagged with graffiti. The horse is located at the corner of Peniel Road and Little Mountain Road, just outside Columbus and had the initials “NWA” painted on the side.
Sauve said a church in Green Creek, a church in Columbus and a welcome sign in Hunting Country were also vandalized with graffiti.
