Polk County Schools will hold preschool enrollment events on May 22-23 at Stearns Education Center in Columbus. 

The drop-in sessions will be held on May 22 from 7:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. and on May 23 from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. 

The events are designed to share information about pre-kindergarten as well as allow families a chance to complete the enrollment process. Anyone planning to enroll a student should bring the following required documents: Birth Certificate, Proof of Residence, Proof of Income. 

Children who turn four before August 31, 2019 are eligible for the program. A limited number of children who turn three before August 31, 2019, will also be accepted.
