Polk County District Court results

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2019, with Judge Fritz Mercer presiding, 85 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.  

The following persons were convicted of a crime:  

Lori Ann Burton was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Burton was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.

Justin Tyler Collins was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor and resisting public officer. Collins was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for time served.  

Dylan Antonia Hudson was convicted of speeding 117 mph in a 65 mph zone and failure to appear. Hudson was sentenced to five days in jail with credit for time served.  

Marlon Longshore was convicted of failure to appear. Longshore was sentenced to 10 days in jail with credit for time served.  

Loren Elizabeth Martz was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Martz was fined $40 and court costs.  

Kalyn Aimar Oyer was convicted of rear seat belt violation. Oyer was fined $75.  

Michael Anthony Rubio was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Rubio was fined $40 and court costs.  

Annette Cates Sain was convicted of misdemeanor probation violation. Sain’s probation was terminated.  

Kristopher K. Waddell was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Waddell was fined $40 and court costs.
