In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2018, with Judge Emily Cowan presiding, 117 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following were convicted of a crime:
Trevor Michael Ellis was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Ellis was fined $40 and court costs.
Lori Elizabeth Field was convicted of level-four driving while impaired. Field was sentenced to 12-months unsupervised probation, 48 hours of community service, a $200 fine and court costs.
Franklin Delan McKaig was convicted of driving while license revoked-impaired revocation. McKaig was sentenced to 12- months unsupervised probation and court costs.
Arthur Franklin Smith was convicted of a probation violation, failure to secure passenger under age 16 and hit/run failure to stop with property damage. Smith was sentenced to three days in jail.
Araceli Cruz Tine was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Tine was fined $40 and court costs.
Miguel Angel Trautner was convicted of speeding 64 mph in a 55 mph zone. Trautner was fined $90 and court costs.
