During the month of September, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office answered 564 calls for service.

There were 12 felony arrests, 36 misdemeanor arrests and 12 citations issued.

Officers served 70 civil papers, 42 criminal papers, completed 1,089 house checks, 2,940 business checks, 1,776 church checks, assisted the public 10 times and patrolled 30,155 miles.

The Polk County Jail booked a total of 72 inmates, including 25 females and 47 males.
