Polk County will crown its 2018 Homecoming Queen during halftime of Friday’s football game with Avery in G.M. Tennant Stadium.
Six seniors — Taylor Burnett, Natalee Davis, Ansley Lynch, Mariah Overholt, Julianna Robbins and Morgan Stott — will vie for the title of 2018 Homecoming Queen. This year’s Miss Wolverine will also be announced during the ceremony.
Friday’s celebration will begin with the traditional Homecoming parade, set to begin at 5 p.m. in Columbus. Mills Street will be closed during the parade, which will depart from the Food Lion parking lot and travel through Columbus to Polk County High School.
