Polk County District Court Results June 27

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, with Judge Peter Knight presiding, 197 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
John Allen Albree II was convicted of conspiracy to commit felony larceny, possession of drug paraphernalia and second-degree trespass. Albree was sentenced to 36 months supervised probation, $1,396 in restitution and court costs.
Clifford Oree Case Jr. was convicted of driving while license revoked-impaired revocation. Case was to pay court costs.
Christopher Scott Cates was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor. Cates was sentenced to one day in jail.
Brandt Michael Crabbe was convicted of possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Crabbe was fined $50 and court costs.
Cynthia Rose Doster was convicted of driving while license revoked-impaired revocation. Doster was to pay court costs.
Amanda Blackwell Duncan was convicted of failure to appear. Duncan was sentenced to 10 days in jail with credit.
Teresa Ann Greene was convicted of simple possession of schedule IV controlled substance. Greene was sentenced to 30 days in jail.
Nicholas Wesley Jolley was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Jolley was sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit.
Vickie Ruff Lindsey was convicted of possession of methamphetamine. Lindsey was sentenced to 24 months supervised probation and court costs.
Robert Vance McCraw was convicted of two counts of communicating threats and assault by pointing a gun. McCraw was sentenced to 24 months supervised probation and court costs.
Maricela Cruz Mejia was convicted of no operator’s license. Mejia was to pay court costs.
Dakota Aaron Pearce was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor. Pearce was sentenced to one day in jail with credit and court costs.
Nathaniel Ray Poteat was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Poteat was sentenced to 12 months unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service and court costs.
Starla Nicole Raines was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Raines was sentenced to 40 days in jail with credit.
John Curtis Shelor was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Shelor was to pay court costs.
Tommy Elaine Smith was convicted of speeding 81 mph in a 65 mph zone. Smith was to pay court costs.
Darius David Webster was convicted of driving while license revoked-not impaired revocation. Webster was sentenced to one day in jail with credit.
Brandon Eugene Wright was convicted of flee/elude arrest with motor vehicle. Wright was sentenced to 24 months supervised probation, $168 in restitution and court costs.
