Educators with area children’s museum KidSenses visited the Polk County Public Library in Columbus on Wednesday to present “Super Sonic Light Speed,” a program where they taught children more about light and sound. The event was part of the library’s summer reading and activities. The kids learned about sound and light waves through interactive demonstrations and lessons with Slinky toys, instruments, special glasses and more. (Photos by Gracie Bryant/Tryon Daily Bulletin)
