The Tryon Painters and Sculptors will host an acrylic paint pouring class from 5:30-8 p.m. Thursday, July 26. Participants will learn two pouring techniques and a little of the science behind cells and paint mixing. The class is available for those 16 and up and no prior experience is necessary The course fee will include canvas, paint, Floetrol, silicone and other materials. Attendees are asked to bring a cheap dish basin, cheap paintbrushes, disposable vinyl gloves, two or three washrags, and to wear old clothes and/or a smock and old shoes.
