Farm to Trade to take over downtown Tryon on June 24

On Sunday, June 24, downtown Tryon will become an outdoor dining experience.

The Tryon Downtown Development Association invites guests to join in a local, farm-fresh, plated meal, with live entertainment and more.

The meal includes local meat from Bradley Farms, and local produce from our area farmers.

Tickets are on sale online at www.downtowntryon.org/farmtotrade, or for cash/check purchase at restaurants and stores in historic downtown Tryon.

Live music will be provided by Swamp Rabbit Railroad.

Tickets are $40 in advance, and will include a family style meal and seat at the dining table. Beer and wine available at a cash bar.

Trade Street will be open to the public, and those who do not wish to join in the dinner will still have access to downtown shops, the cash bar and the live entertainment.

Members of Polk County High School Marching Wolverines will serve meals that evening. All tips will support the band.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Tryon Downtown Development Association.
