Equine pasture management program April 10
Published 8:00 am Friday, March 30, 2018
The Landrum Library will host a program about equine pasture management on April 10 from 6 to 7 p.m.
Christopher LeMaster with the Clemson Cooperative Extension, will discuss the relationship between horse and pasture health. Participants will learn strategies to reduce hay needs, decrease parasite load, reduce weed pressure, improve forage quality and grazing management.
While there is no silver bullet to a healthy pasture, this program will take a systems approach to your farm’s pasture management strategies.
Landrum Library is located at 111 Asbury Dr. in Landrum.
