► Polk approves PSNC water line extension
The Polk County Board of Commissioners approved a water line extension for PSNC natural gas along Silver Creek Road to the company’s substation. PSNC will pay for the entire extension, estimated at $77,000. County engineer Dave Odom said the extension is in the permitting stages right now.
► Our Carolina Foothills presents progress to towns
Our Carolina Foothills presented its recent programs to the city of Saluda and towns of Columbus and Tryon this month. Mindy Wiener and Suzanne Strickland detailed recent programs, including the One Minute Ambassador and Art of the Horse, as well as advertising done for the towns recently.
