The South Carolina Chamber announced the recipients of the HR Professional of the Year and HR Rising Star at the 28th Annual HR Conference on March 1 in Isle of Palms, South Carolina. The awards were sponsored by Ogletree Deakins.

The HR Professional of the Year Award was presented to Bob Lowe, a Landrum business owner and consultant with People Make the Difference LLC.

“We are proud to present the HR Professional of the Year award to Bob Lowe” said South Carolina Chamber President and CEO Ted Pitts. “Throughout his career, Bob has used his skills and expertise to help countless organizations reach their potential. This award honors the best our state has to offer in the field of Human Resources, and Bob’s longstanding success and commitment to excellence in his work makes him truly deserving of this honor.”

The HR Rising Star Award was presented to Kevin G. DeLoach, human resources generalist, South Carolina Education Lottery.
