Landrum Police Department February Report

In February, the Landrum Police Department responded to a total of six traffic incidents and seven criminal incidents, and conducted eight criminal investigations.
The department issued two citations for disregarding stop signs, issued one citation and made one arrest for driving under suspension, issued a citation for no driver’s license, and issued two citations for speeding.
Officers also issued one citation and made an arrest for false information to a police officer, issued one citation and made an arrest for trespassing after notice, issued two citations and made two arrests for possession of drug paraphernalia, issued a citation for public disorderly conduct, and issued two citations and made two arrests for simple possession of marijuana.
The department investigated one case of assault, three cases of recovery of counterfeit money, one case of child neglect, one case of criminal domestic violence, one case of cruelty to children and one case of a runaway person.
In addition, the department had three accident reports, did three funeral escorts and issued 12 warning citations.
