During the month of February, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office answered 499 calls for service.

There were 18 felony arrests, 16 misdemeanor arrests and 30 citations issued.

Officers served 69 civil papers, 11 criminal papers, completed 887 house checks, 2,695 business checks, 1,431 church checks, assisted the public three times and patrolled 23,210 miles.

The Polk County Jail booked a total of 68 inmates, including 58 males and 10 females.
