Polk County District Court results

In Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2018, with Judge Athena F. Brooks presiding, 130 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
John Alan Atkinson was convicted of possession of open container/consumption of alcohol in passenger area and level five driving while. Atkinson was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Nyjyl Stephen Barnes was convicted of felony probation violation. Barnes’ probation was terminated.
Kendra Jayne Brigmon was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Brigmon was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Bryson Aaron Brown was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Brown was fined $40 and court costs.
Joseph Kale Cheatwood was convicted of possession of methamphetamine. Cheatwood was sentenced to one year supervised probation and court costs.
William Arlo Collins was convicted of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and no operator’s license. Collins was sentenced to five days in jail with credit for time served.
Jay Scott Crissone was convicted of level four driving while impaired. Crissone was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 48 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Elizabeth G. Daniel was convicted of operating a vehicle with improper equipment. Daniel was fined $40 and court costs.
David R. Dominguez was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Dominguez was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Donna Renae Gossett was convicted of resisting public officer. Gossett was sentenced to five days in jail with credit for time served.
Steven William Green was convicted of resisting public officer, failure to heed light or siren and two counts of failure to burn headlamps. Green was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for time served.
Renae Lee Jaggers was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Jaggers was fined $20 and court costs.
Michael Lee Martin was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Martin was sentenced to one year supervised probation, one day in jail, a $100 fine and court costs.
Philip Fricis Salks was convicted of level three driving while impaired. Salks was sentenced to three days in jail, one year unsupervised probation, a $200 fine and court costs.
Jeffrey Otto Seiser was convicted of level one driving while impaired. Seiser was sentenced to 30 days in jail, one year supervised probation, a $300 fine and court costs.
Mindy Noel Williams was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Williams was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
