Lift Steve Raines, family up in prayer
Published 3:12 pm Wednesday, December 27, 2017
I’m writing this letter in hope that you and the Tryon Daily Bulletin will be able to help my friend Steve Raines and his family.
Steve works at Food Lion and has been there for 30 years. He is one of the kindest, nicest people you could ever want to meet.
He is presently in Spartanburg Regional Hospital suffering from some sort of pancreatic failure.
He’s a wonderful person and takes care of his mother who is also not in the best of health. They will be facing mounting medical bills and can use all the donations and prayers that this community can possibly provide. Prayer is a wonderful thing and makes miracles happen! I also realize that the family will be under extreme financial strain and would like to ask the community to donate as much as they can afford to help Steve and his family.
Donations can be made directly at Food Lion in Columbus or can be made by visiting www.gofundme.com/steve-raines. Donations can also be made at TD Bank in Tryon to the Steve Raines fund raising account.
I realize that Christmas has just passed and we are all suffering from low budgets. I also realize the generosity of Polk County and this community and ask that you donate what you can afford, any donation will help.
