Polk County cruises past Mitchell in straight-set triumph

Polk County cruised to its fourth straight win on Thursday, sweeping Mitchell 3-0 in a Western Highlands Conference match at Polk.
The Wolverines (11-3, 3-0) posted a 25-5, 25-19, 25-15 win. Mitchell dropped to 1-3, 0-3 with the loss.
Reagan Waddell had 21 kills and three aces to lead Polk County, with Kendall Hall adding 25 digs. Lauren Ketwitz had 12 digs, two aces and 13 assists, with Mireya Roman and Grace Lauer each posting five kills.
Polk County also won the junior varsity match in a 25-6, 25-18 decision.
The Wolverines continue conference play on Tuesday, traveling to Mountain Heritage.
