Green Creek firefighters enjoyed a complimentary dinner Aug. 28 presented by retired chef John Cappadona, who has made it his personal mission to visit all the fire houses in the area and prepare five-star meals for firefighters as a way to thank them for their service to the community. At this meal, Jamie Jolly received a plaque to mark 35 years of service to the department. Cappadona’s next meal will be prepared for Mill Spring firefighters on Sept. 11.
