Tryon Garden Club announces 2017-18 speakers

The Tryon Garden Club will hold its first meeting of the new season on Wednesday, Sept. 20. Margaret Brown will discuss her years of arranging flowers for Augusta National and the Masters.
The group will hear some interesting, diverse programs throughout the year and the public is invited to attend. The speakers are featured at our meetings held at FENCE, 3381 Hunting Country Road, Tryon, on the third Wednesday of the month.
The program begins promptly at 2 p.m. and is free. All are welcome.

The Tryon Garden Club is a 501(c)(3) organization, one of the oldest garden clubs in North Carolina, having been organized in 1928. Its mission is to foster awareness and an appreciation for the natural world by preserving, protecting and treasuring Pearson’s Falls, contributing to the beautification of Tryon, educating members and the community, and collaborating with others.
